Step into Better Health
Discover how dance is more than just a form of expression; it's a path towards better neurological health. Learn how dance impacts stress, cognition, & memory.

OUR GOAL
Supporting students, especially those battling neurological illnesses, is critical.
And what better way to do it than through dance? Our platform serves as a guide to understanding and embracing dance therapy as a method of improving neurological health.
We dive into the concept of dance therapy explaining its effectiveness in managing and mitigating various neurological conditions. You'll learn about studies that link regular dancing to reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression. For instance, the synchronization in group dances like Zumba or line dancing can increase your feelings of belonging, and freestyle dance can provide an emotional outlet for expressing your feelings.
This isn't just theory - This platform has your mind in mind.
We'll explore in depth how dance acts as a mood elevator, releases stress, and even contributes to better sleep patterns.

Inside of your skull is the most complex organ in your body: the brain. It’s responsible for everything from blinking to existential crises. Dance Therapy
People often say that the arts are “therapeutic,” but there are major differences between participating in the arts recreationally and for therapeutic reasons. ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Sanjana and Shivani Shah
Sanjana and Shivani lived in a house with four generations of outspoken and confident women who have learned Indian classical dance.
This perspective has taught them to take the initiative and start something, when they saw a need in the community. That’s why they created this educational platform.
When they're not working on this project, you can find Sanjana and Shivani either dancing (they completed their Arangetram in 2021!) or playing lacrosse.
